Nvinium Games Launches "Admin Wars" In Unforgiven War

2008_11_25_unforgiven.jpgWe've been passed along some news from a company that we'll admit we've never heard of before, Nvinium Games, relating to their (similarly unknown to us) text-based MMORPG, Unforgiven War.

Unforgiven War is a free-to-play browser-based MMO where players take the role of a soldier in a global war. From our brief time with the game is seems pretty complex and highly dependent on players interacting with each other, so is certainly another interesting example of the kind of niche MMOs (like Trukz) that we've been discovering recently.

Anyway, they've let us know they're running "Admin Wars" an event where players must battle the team of admins, designers and artists behind the game, for the chance to win from a prize pool of $15,000 in prizes such as Xbox360s and PS3s. Prizes are to be awarded in categories including most kills, highest points to a Platoon and greatest XP earned.

The event is to run until December 16th.

Man I played this game and it sucks! The rules are confusing and ever changing. And if you don't have the moolah to upgrade on items you're in the pits. You're better of playing and spending time on other online games.

I registered here to tell everyone 1 thing, he advertises this as a FREE Game, while you can register and Play for free, you will NOT excell in the game unless you have HUNDREDS of USD $$$$ to put into it.

And IF you even think of trying to play the game without paying for it, via attacking people with large amounts of money in their accounts, you will be banned for Cheating. There are too many hackers in the game or so they say, and anyone who even attempts to take advantage of the "free" moeny they see laying around is automatically suspect.

Yes, I have played the game, I have been and admin, and YES, frankthetank Promised me to take care of me, then when the time came found ways to get rid of me by absolutely refusing to LISTEN to a word I had to say.

Nightmare, I saw you posted the same thing on the onrpg forums I even think it is word for word. you registered just to copy and paste what you already said lol.

I really like UnforgivenWar. I don't know what the above posters are talking about. I have been playing for months now and I am definitely addicted. I have not put any money in at all, and I am doing really well. Definitely give this game a try!

Well, I am a non-donator and I was able to finish in 2nd place in the non-donator catgory of the "Admin Wars". I had not been playing long, but wit the guidance of my platoon leaders and devotion to the game I was able to excel. Thank you Nvinium Games.

I posted here yesterday but do not see my comment, hmm? anyway .. I am a 90 member of Unforgiven war and what the guy above is stating is totally exaggerated! the game is free.. FREE by all sense of the word... the do accept donations in the game but anything you can get by donating you can get IN the game with money earned by doing crimes, saving, collecting interest and other sources... it just takes more time - like any game. As for being banned, if you cheat in the game you will be banned, simple. This keeps an even battle field for everyone. Cheating consists of making many accounts so you can get more award points then all the other players. It's a great game and an awesome community... I know the whiners on here are probably "banned" people .. RgrD in the game, my ID is 47655 .. send me a mail if you want info on playing

Awesome game free level 42 atm it awesome.

The game is awesome and is plenty fun..very addicting and challenging..it is free and even though you can donate you dont have to..you can get help from other players,or joining a platoon..Here is the ling to UnforgivenWar..

LOVE the game. Folks can play for free or "donate". That choice is up to them. As in ALL games, you benefit more by buying in but it's not that expensive. I started with a 3 DOLLAR package. I mean c'mon, where can you enjoy a game like this for 3 freakin dollars. GREAT game.

Dude, what u said about having to donate in order to be really good is partially true. But you can also try working really hard on ur acc and maybe in a few months you can be as good as those donators. Its really a pretty good game. Plus, the admins are really nice

It's war...do what you can to get ahead and make mayhem. Like every game you play you have to work on your character, but having contests and wars are fun. People help you out if you ask nicely till you get the hang of things. I've enjoyed playing it since it's given me a little variety from the other MMO's.

Unforgiven War is a little more than just a game..Its has quickly developed into a great community of people. I love playing just because the people are great. Admin really listens to you and fixes things for you. They are usually on throughout the day and can be easily asked questions. The seasoned vetrans of the game will take the time to help the new players and all and all there is alot of fun to be had..GREAT game.. my favorit browser based mmo of them all.

I love UW!

Great game. Have been playing it for months. There are those that insist you have to donate to excel. Not true. I personally know people that have excellent characters that have never donated a cent. Try it and you will soon be addicted. Trust me.

Good game no doubt. Endless competition as the community grows, well informed admins, addicting, and free to play :)

UW is amazing! The game is tons of fun and you make some really great friends along the way too. You most certainly DO NOT HAVE TO DONATE. You can make it a long way without donating. You just get there more quickly by donating and it also helps the game to add updates. The Admins are very friendly as well. So go sign up and start playing!

This game is really great, there is not many places you can go and get this kind of thrill and fun.
I love playing it!

Paying or not paying still great!

I have had a great experience at Unforgiven War. My account ID# is 849 which means i was the 849th person to sign up there. I've been there almost from the beginning. There were some rocky times at first, but I can honestly say, the site is fast, easy to use, and all around serious fun. The community is also great.
I'll add one final comment about donators being able to dominate the game and progress faster. It is actually true, but Shouldn't it be that way??? I mean the game is free for the 35,000 active people. I for one have only donated $3.00 for a RT pack in my entire time at Unforgiven, so it has taken me longer to progress, but I still appreciate the hard work involved making the site what it is and understand the donators should get the benefits.

UnforgivenWar is the place to be Troopz. :).

No donations are not required to play.

It is a completely FREE MMORPG.

Thousands of players play without donating and love it.

You just come and have fun with the thousands of active members we already have.

This is a game that you will play atleast one hour a day if not more, I like this game and have been playing for about 80 days and I´m a non donator and i manage fine.

i have just recently joined this game about a month ago and it has been nothing but fun thanks nvinium games you've made an awesome game! thanks!

so great a game you wouldn't believe it's free. that's unforgiven war for you!

The admins are a joke, the whole you dont have to donate to excell idea is a joke, the fact that i wasted about a year of my life on this game is a joke, GrimReaper is a joke, and last but not least FrankTheTank is a joke... peace sucka
